Service Integrity KPIs

Cell Downlink Average Throughput


This KPI evaluates the cell downlink average throughput when there are data transferring at downlink. It reflects the cell capacity.

Related Counter - DL Traffic Volume  

Description:
The counters measure the total traffic volume of transmitted PDCP SDUs for each service with a specific QCI ranging from 1 to 9 in a cell.
Measurement Point
The size of the payloads in the transmitted PDCP SDUs of each service with a specific QCI is sampled in a cell. At the end of a measurement period, the sum of these sampling results is used as the value of the corresponding counter.

  • The downlink traffic volume KPIs consist of nine sub-KPIs mapped to nine QCIs. This group of KPIs can be used to evaluate the DL traffic volume for each QCI in a cell, which is measured at the PDCP layer excluding the RLC header and RLC retransmission.
  • Downlink Traffic Volume for PDCP SDUs
Related Counter – DL Transmission Time 

Description:
The counters measure the transmit duration of downlink PDCP SDUs for services with a specific QCI ranging from 1 to 9 in a cell.
Measurement Point
The transmit duration of downlink PDCP SDUs for each service with a specific QCI ranging from 1 to 9 in a cell is sampled per millisecond. If there is downlink data transmission within this millisecond, the sampling result of the corresponding counter is 1. At the end of a measurement period, the sum of these sampling results is used as the value of the corresponding counter.

Cell Uplink Average Throughput



Related Counter - UL Traffic Volume  
Description:
The counters measure the total traffic volume of received PDCP SDUs for each service with a specific QCI ranging from 1 to 9 in a cell.
Measurement Point
The size of the payloads in the received PDCP SDUs of each service with a specific QCI is sampled in a cell. At the end of a measurement period, the sum of these sampling results is used as the value of the corresponding counter.



  •      Uplink Traffic Volume for PDCP SDUs

Related Counter – UL Receiving Time 

Description:
The counters measure the receive duration of uplink PDCP SDUs for services with a specific QCI ranging from 1 to 9 in a cell.
Measurement Point
The receive duration of uplink PDCP SDUs for each service with a specific QCI ranging from 1 to 9 in a cell is sampled per millisecond. If there is uplink data receiving within this millisecond, the sampling result of the corresponding counter is 1. At the end of a measurement period, the sum of these sampling results is used as the value of the corresponding counter.


  •      Receive Duration of Uplink PDCP SDUs in a Cell


QoS class of identifier (QCI).This parameter basically defines IP level packets characteristics as shown below
